But what happens when we DO do it. And it becomes a habit. And we just can’t seem to stop?

That’s when “don’t do it” doesn’t quite cut it.

You need to learn about your brain.

You need to learn the science of habit formation.

You need to practice new skills.

The problem with most pornography programs is that they treat pornography viewing as a shameful “illness” instead of habit that can be re-written. These programs focus on increasing pure grit and willpower instead of solving the actual problem. They bandaid the problem instead of fixing the root of it. They continue to make money because when a former client relapses they run back and pay for more sessions that continue to “bandaid” the problem, instead of offering a life-long solution.

That is not what we do here.

You’re not broken. You’re not weak. You’re not powerless.

You just need someone to give you the operating manual for your brain.

You can do this. You can overcome this WITHOUT the shame, WITHOUT pure willpower, all while re-building your spiritual connection with God. Here are the steps:

  1. Overcome shame spirals that keep you stuck

  2. Learn to process through your urges instead of avoiding them or will-powering your way through them, which are never long-term solutions.

  3. Learn to change your desires. You don’t have to struggle with this forever. Your brain can literally be re-written to not want to view pornography.
